Time to burn the wax and create the mold for the ring. She’s got her game face on!
No need for a trip to jewelry store for this bride and groom. A Redditer recently showed off her amazing skills by crafting her husband’s wedding ring herself. The arduous process took her several hours, but the result will last a lifetime.
This is definitely a one of a kind way to say “I do.”
She began on a computer crafting the ornate design.
The rendering took about 5 hours.
She then milled the wax toolpath, which took about 9 hours.
Once the wax was burned away, she began casting the white gold in the 900 degree crucible.
Then she dropped the pin and watched it fly!
While this might not look too impressive…
Inside, the cast was a success!
She cleaned it up a bit and perfection was revealed.
Well — near perfection. This small pit on the side was easily remedied.
Check out those details!
Her soon-to-be husband tried it on for size. Perfect fit!
Then it was time to shine it up for polishing.
Looking good!
But not quite done. She worked for hours cleaning the ring…
And hours.
Once it was nice and shiny, she added the diamonds.
The snazzy result! Almost outshines the bride!
Happily ever after.
Looks like a match made in bling heaven.
