Mo Samuels who was diagnosed with lymphodoema at the age of 12 and eventually he became bedridden. The doctors told him that he would probably never walk again but they were wrong. Two years later Mo became a professional bodybuilder.
Mo Samuels, who is 19 today, from Cornwall, England, lost almost 13 kg when he got ill. Before that, he was always active, he liked to swim and to workout as much as he could.
But after his stay at the hospital and several surgeries he was just a shadow of his former self. After he was discharged from the hospital, he said ‘I eventually had my mobility back, driven by the people that told me that I couldn’t.’ After that was settled, he decided to hit the gym hard and to get back in the shape he was before.
And when that was achieved, he thought why not going even further. That’s how he decided not to stop on his achievements and to gain more muscles and become a bodybuilder. He now weights 95 kg and eats 240g of protein a day and has changed his diet to push himself much further. He has even competed in his first men’s physique competition just recently and came in third place.
Kudos to you Mo and all the best!
