Barnorama All Fun In The Barn
A stranger recently walked into a Denny’s in Utah and asked the hostess if her could have a server who is a single mom. He then sat in the restaurant for 2 hours and paid for the meals of 7 different families before leaving the single mom a $1,500 tip.
Broadcast network NBC News was able to find the man and ask him a few questions. He said “I’ve done this many times, but this is the one that got out.”
When he was asked why he specifically wanted to help out a single mother he answered: “I grew up with a single mother of six. We were poor and homeless a lot. I watched and suffered for years as I watched her work her hands to the bone to give us a good life. She raised us to be kind and help others. Many years down the road, I was facing prison and getting in trouble. It ended up causing me to lose my family because I was a really terrible person.”
He has changed his life for the better since and now runs a successful business and this is his way to “pay it back.”
