Barnorama All Fun In The Barn
Just a fair warning, the first few images are pretty nasty. So, yeah.
This BBL (beautiful black lab) was rescued from a squatter camp. She was not only malnourished, but she was riddled with ticks. Most people lose their minds when one tick is found. LOOK AT ALL THOSE TICKS.
Dear oh dear. The process of removing all of the ticks was slow and steady, but it was completed successfully.
As you can see, the ticks were not only in her ears, but around her eyes as well.
These photos were put up on Facebook in an attempt to hopefully catch the eyes of someone who could take in the poor dog- who is named “Belle”.
Despite the ticks being removed, and food being given to her, you can see the sadness in this photo.
That’s when this lovely girl, Hailey, decided to step in and take Belle under her wing.
Oh, and her mom was out of town on a business trip, so she didn’t even ask. She adopted Belle and brought her home where she and her brother gave her a bath.
It didn’t take long for Belle to find comfort in her new home.
Hailey and Belle now realize just how much they needed each other.
Belle is now healthy, happy, and loved.
She loves being outside.
And hey, it looks like she loves the camera, too.
