Neighborhood’s Heartwarming Goodbye To Mailman Who Retires After 35 Years

Mailboxes in Atlanta were decorated earlier this week to celebrate the retirement of Floyd Martin: a mailman of 35 years who dedicated his life to the friends and family he made while spending every morning and afternoon with the people on his route.

Floyd is an example of the rewards that come from kindness, compassion, and generosity. Jennifer Brett spent the last two days of Floyd’s career with him to document the end of an era for this neighborhood and witness the outpouring of love he received.
