Once you step aboard the plane, it’s non-stop Hello Kitty.
Doesn’t it seem like Hello Kitty has been around forever? Well, this year the cartoon character is celebrating its 40th birthday. In case you’re not familiar, Hello Kitty is a cartoon character created in 1974 by Japanese company Sanrio. Her motto is “You can never have too many friends.
To celebrate the 40 year milestone, Taiwanese airline EVA Air will start flying its Hello Kitty themed airplane from Paris to Taipei. This is the first time the plane has flown in Europe, and it’s quite possibly the best way to fly.
EVA Air decked out the entire plane from top to bottom in Hello Kitty attire. Even the food is Hello Kitty themed.
That’s the cutest looking airplane ever.
A spokesperson for EVA Air said that those flying on the Hello Kitty jet will have access to new menus and even Hello Kitty themed cutlery.
Until now, the Hello Kitty airplane had been flying between Los Angeles and Taipei.
EVA currently flies four times a week from Paris to Taipei. Three of those flights will now be with the Hello Kitty airplane.
EVA designed the Hello Kitty Plane to “make flying fun and spread happiness among passengers all over the globe.”
