The Snuggery is one of these new businesses that specialize in the snuggling service. The owner of The Snuggery feels that snuggling is a very relaxing and comforting human need and can really help people who are stressed with their lives or are feeling lonely.
Their website states “Research provides us with ample evidence that physical contact with others has a positive effect on our physical and mental health….Touch can lower blood pressure. This can play an enormous role in the prevention and treatment of numerous health conditions. Additionally, going without touch for three days demonstrably increased stress and anxiety levels.”
One or two snuggle buddies can keep you company. They charge by the hour, but there are overnight packages available.
