Humans, in general, have an obsession with the future. We worry about what we will be doing in 5 years, what technological advancements will be and what the world will look like for our children. We have always been that way.
Take these ads from past decades as an example. The vintage advertisements attempted to guess what the future would look like. Sometimes they were close… but most often, they were way, way off.
They thought that THIS is what voicemail would look like.
Instead of a portable AC unit, maybe just air condition the entire vehicle?
Instead of automatic doors, there was… this?
Not sure if we’ll ever get to the Jetson flying car like this.
Self-driving cars? Yes, please.
Self-checkins are thankfully not this complicated at the airport. Most of the time.
Getting things delivered to you isn’t that outlandish.
