Boy called Belal fearlessly risks his own life and jumps into the dangerous Noakhali river in Bangladesh to save a fawn.
A Brave Teen
Onlookers were unsure whether the boy was going to appear again from the raging floodwaters! The river was swollen, it was high tide and those witnessing thought he might drown.
A Small Fawn
Belal had spotted this helpless drowning baby deer.
Grabbing On..
He held the young fawn in one hand above his head as he plunged through the surging river.
The Year’s Flood Water
The incident took place when the fawn became separated from its family during torrential rain and the fast-rising floods
The Rainy Season
Apparently in the area of Noakhali many of its deer population drown during the rainy season. The locals do all they can to protect them.
Back On Land
When Belal finally made it to the other side, the locals cheered as the fawn and Belai were safe on dry land.
