Doom was the best game, I wasnt allowed to play it, my parents sayed it was so violent, I remember waking at the 5 of the morning to steel my dads pc and played it,
I still have a legacy machine I maintain like its the only ones left in the whole world. Has a 400Mhz AMD KIII Processor, a Riva TNT 16MB graphics card, 512 MB of ram, 2 40 gig HDs… and running 2 OSes; Windows 2000, and the good ol Windows 98 SE.
That machine is dedicated to running all of my legacy games like Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior, Spear of Destiny, Wolfenstein 3D, all of the classic Doom Series… I enjoy reliving those fond memories. 🙂
