Amelia Vega Polanco (born November 7, 1984 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) became the first and only Dominican woman to be named Miss Universe, in 2003. She is also considered to be the most beautiful to have ever won the pageant. At the age of 18, she was the youngest winner since 1994.
